ENA growth-type music project 'THE SCOUT : reborn star' (hereafter 'The Scout') contestant Lee San solidified a solo run by taking first place by an overwhelming margin in the second vote following the first. Behind him, former actor newcomer Kim Yushin fiercely pursued.
On the 22nd, the third episode of 'The Scout' (airs every Friday at 8 p.m.) depicted the 16 muses who passed the 'scout stage' entering the 'starry camp' and beginning full-scale 'hell training.' The broadcast showed an all-star mentor lineup—including Lee Seung-Chul, Kim Jaejoong, Wendy, DAY6's Young K and others—as well as Choo Sung Hoon and Kim Chang-ok, whose sincere guidance delivered both laughter and emotion.
The muses were first met with grueling morning training led by 'physical & mental master' Choo Sung Hoon. In the intense hell training of push-ups, jumps and running 100 meters, Wendy team's youngest member Jo Yong-hwan fell and rolled but crawled forward without giving up. Seeing this, Choo Sung Hoon offered heartfelt praise, saying, "His look was incredible. Seeing that friend moved me, and I thought I should work hard too."
Communication expert Kim Chang-ok's mentoring, which healed the muses' mentality, also shone. Brought in gladly through Lee Seung-Chul's special connections, Kim Chang-ok—who majored in vocal music—deeply empathized with the muses' concerns. In particular, in response to Jo Yoon-chan's confession, "As I get older, I'm afraid this path is right," Kim Chang-ok left the maxim, "Singing is not something you show but something that is shown, not something you deliver but something that is received," moving not only the muses but also bringing viewers to tears.
Then preparations for the first official stage, 'Remake my self,' began in earnest, and the masters continued close coaching full of personality. Young K team's Choi Ha-ram gave a special consolation song for two male audience members during the '1:1 busking' mission, turning the venue into a sea of tears, and Kim Yushin, who ranked second in the first vote, showcased sweet emotion with a Roy Kim song, truly capturing women's hearts.
On the other hand, the tiger masters' tension-filled 'loving harsh criticism' also erupted. After watching Kim Yun-soo's demonstration while holding the microphone, Kim Jaejoong delivered sharp yet affectionate criticism—"It doesn't sound like a singer; it sounds like singing in a live bar or karaoke"—freezing the practice room atmosphere. Lee Seung-Chul also directly loosened his team members' neck muscles and passed on vocal techniques befitting a legendary vocalist, fully supporting the muses' growth.
In the trailer revealed at the end of the broadcast, the muses' first team contest, whose visuals were completely transformed from head to toe and whose skills had monstrously improved to dominate the stage, was unveiled. After seeing the stage and checking the results, MC Kim Sung-Ju was caught unable to contain his shock, saying, "Even if it's scripted, it wouldn't come out like this," heightening curiosity.
In the revealed 'second main vote' results, Lee San once again defended the throne with an overwhelming 29.86% of the vote, and attention is focused on whether powerful chasers including Kim Yushin can succeed in a dramatic ranking reversal through next week's first official stage.<
