Singer and actor Nam Gyu-ri swallowed Busan's Haeundae whole.
Nam Gyu-ri held a busking performance on the afternoon of the 22nd at the event plaza of Haeundae Beach in Busan, capturing the eyes and ears of the large crowd gathered there.
That day's busking was staged as a special collaboration with the three-member vocal group Sunsunhee (Gitae, Mirrorball, Yoon Ji-hwan), a leading force in digital music in Busan, offering an even richer and more polished stage. Opening the show, Sunsunhee poured out a luxurious live medley including "You are stuck inside me," "I'm so glad," and "To live," instantly coloring Haeundae's night with emotion.
Following that, Nam Gyu-ri, who took the stage, captivated the audience with her clear and delicate vocal tone. She showcased her abilities as a vocalist with her recently released solo song 'Love's greeting 2026,' which is currently sailing near the top of the charts, as well as a cover performance of Psy's 'A place to lean on.'
Above all, what excited fans at the venue the most was the stage by the group SeeYa, which returned as a full lineup after 15 years. Nam Gyu-ri performed the new full-length album's track "Our" and the title track "Stay" back to back with explosive live performances, raising the energy of the crowd.
In response to the encore requests poured out at the end of the performance, Nam Gyu-ri and Sunsunhee answered with a duet rendition of SG Wannabe's "La La La." The two artists' perfect harmony combined with Haeundae's blue night sea to create a cinematic standout moment.
After the performance, Nam Gyu-ri said emotionally, "From my trainee days at 19, I dreamed of this stage, and to be here at the romantic Haeundae with so many audience members I could never have imagined makes my heart swell," and added, "I sincerely thank everyone who listened to my voice and breathed passionately with me; this will be a miraculous day I will never forget in my life."
