"My Royal Nemesis' Heo Nam-jun and Lim Ji-yeon finally kissed.
On the 23rd episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'My Royal Nemesis' (written by Kang Hyun-joo, directed by Han Tae-seop and Kim Hyun-woo), Shin Seo-ri (Lim Ji-yeon) and Cha Se-gye (Heo Nam-jun) kissed.
On the plane to Jeju, Cha Se-gye, who had lost consciousness, was saved by Shin Seo-ri. In the process, Shin Seo-ri also lost consciousness, and as soon as the two arrived in Jeju they headed to the hospital, and fortunately there were no major problems with their lives or health. Meanwhile, Cha Se-gye told her that all the circumstances — deepfakes, terror, rumors, even private equity Kaiser — pointed to Choi Moon-do (Jang Seung-jo) as the mastermind, and, saying "whether he is overconfident or has an inflated ego," ground his teeth. After receiving Cha Se-gye's 'no health problems' report, Choi Moon-do said, "Now you'll know what I might do for the group," and dealt with the nurse who prescribed the medication.
After discharge, because they were staying at the same resort and were riding in the same car, Shin Seo-ri grew curious about why Cha Se-gye continued to be under threat. While they were at the sea, Shin Seo-ri said, "It's my first time seeing the sea," and "If I had died without seeing something this beautiful, it would have been an eternal regret." Seeing Shin Seo-ri marvel at the sea and enjoy it like a girl, Cha Se-gye smiled fondly.
Meanwhile, Yoon Ji-hyo (Lee Se-hee) arrived at the Jeju resort and witnessed Cha Se-gye and Shin Seo-ri's arrival. In the process, Baek Kwang-nam (Kim Min-seok) misunderstood that he was Shin Seo-ri's 'supercar boyfriend' and tried to make a good impression on her. Baek Kwang-nam, who had been indifferent all along, suddenly became enthusiastic after meeting Yoon Ji-hyo, and Shin Seo-ri initially refused the concept of wearing a revealing dress for the commercial shoot but, persuaded by Hong Bu-seon (Baik Jiwon), hardened her resolve.
Cha Se-gye was also captivated by Shin Seo-ri's goddess-like beauty, but because of the intense attention they switched outfits. In particular, Cha Se-gye subtly revealed his true feelings, saying, "I can't see anything but that woman right now, no matter the place or anything." This reached Choi Moon-do's ears immediately, and upon hearing that the commercial shoot staff's discontent had grown, he smiled meaningfully, saying, "It seems the timing has finally come."
On the way back to the resort, Shin Seo-ri couldn't attend the dinner because an elderly man's request to find his granddaughter took her away. With Shin Seo-ri absent, Cha Se-gye wanted to step in himself but had to hold back amid warnings that it might cause gossip. When Shin Seo-ri still didn't return, they checked CCTV, found her entering the forest with the elderly man, went to look for her, and rescued her wandering in the woods. Worried about Shin Seo-ri, Cha Se-gye said things he did not mean, and Shin Seo-ri returned to the resort saying, "From now on I'll act like a stranger."
After returning to the resort and finishing the after-party, Cha Se-gye followed because he was worried about an intoxicated Shin Seo-ri. While spending time together at the sea, Shin Seo-ri read apology in Cha Se-gye's expression, and when Cha Se-gye said, "I'm going to do something now, and if you want to run away this is your last chance," and tried to kiss her, she dodged and then he held her. Cha Se-gye looked at Shin Seo-ri and kissed her. At the same time, Choi Moon-do heightened the tension by meeting Mo Tae-hee.
