KARD member J.seph returns with his first solo album that fully embraces his own hip-hop identity.
J.seph's first EP "Spin-off" will be released at 6 p.m. on the 26th on various online music sites.
Ahead of that, at 12 a.m. today (23rd), J.seph premiered a highlight medley video of his first EP "Spin-off" on KARD's official YouTube channel, heating up comeback excitement.
The released highlight medley video captures attention with Y2K-style visuals that wittily parody overseas home shopping. Objects that represent the mood of each track—such as skateboards, game consoles and headphones—are rendered with hip graphics, delivering visual and auditory fun at the same time.
The album "Spin-off" includes a number of well-made tracks, starting with the punchy trap-based hip-hop track "ILL", followed by "TRIPPY", which blends dreamy synth sounds with a heavy trap beat, and "BOTTOMS UP", which emits intense heat with unrestrained energy.
Among them, the most anticipated title track "EASY" is a song that places J.seph's lethal charm over a rhythmic dembow sound. J.seph's characteristic relaxed mood and flow, which effortlessly and perfectly digest everything, are expected to captivate listeners.
"Spin-off" is meaningful as J.seph's first solo EP released since his debut. Instead of flashy packaging, it puts forward J.seph's unadorned true emotions and musical color. In particular, J.seph personally participated in writing the lyrics for all the tracks, including the title track "EASY", and plans to firmly establish his expanded musical world and capabilities as a solo artist.
