SEVENTEEN main vocalists Dokyeom and Seungkwan filled the first-day stage of Seoul Jazz Festival 2026 (hereafter SJazzFest) with emotion.
The two took the stage at the 18th SJazzFest held on the 22nd at Seoul Olympic Park and spent 60 minutes connecting with the audience through a varied setlist ranging from tracks from their duet mini album's first release to each of their solo songs and songs by SEVENTEEN's vocal team.
Opening with the mini album's track 'Prelude of love,' Dokyeom and Seungkwan proved their wide vocal spectrum by perfectly handling diverse genres, not only traditional ballads like 'Blue' and 'Say Yes' but also jazz-infused 'Guilty Pleasure' and the upbeat-tempo 'Feel Me.' In the ensuing solo stages, Seungkwan passionately sang 'Mindeulle' and 'Raindrops' with a moving delivery, while Dokyeom led singalongs with refreshing tones and dynamic band sounds in 'Myeongjangmyeon' and 'Go!'.
Norwegian singer-songwriter Peder Elias made a surprise appearance that further raised the energy. The artists showed a special friendship by performing BSS's 'Play it at 7' together three years after its release. They also completed flawless harmony through the SEVENTEEN vocal team medley ("Same dream, same heart, same night", "Dust", "I'm happy every day because it's you", "Ode to youth") with added chorus lines, showcasing the true nature of a live-oriented artist.
Dokyeom and Seungkwan said, "We are happy to be able to be with the audience on such a beautiful spring day. Seeing you enjoy our songs makes us proud and feel good," and added, "It was a pleasure and an honor to come to SJazzFest. We hope you enjoy the remaining performances."
Meanwhile, after successfully wrapping up their festival stage, the two will continue the global momentum with the sold-out tour DxS [SERENADE] ON STAGE. They will visit Daegu EXCO on the 30th and 31st, then Macau on June 6-7, and Kaohsiung on July 24-26.
