The group Billlie is drawing a global upward trajectory as it makes its first full-length album comeback.
On the 6th, Billlie (Siyoon, Sean, Tsuki, Moon Sua, Haram, Soohyun, Haruna), who released their first full-length album the collective soul and unconscious: chapter two, has been releasing solid self-produced content one after another since the comeback, drawing in domestic and international listeners and continuing a hot upward trend.
In particular, the performance video for "WORK," which served as the catalyst for the double title track's success, exceeded 4 million views combined between the full video and shorts on the official YouTube channel. Riding that momentum, it has firmly held top spots on YouTube's Korea trending music chart, and major domestic and international music platforms such as Melon and Spotify have shown steep increases in traffic, indicating signs of a full-fledged long run.
Billlie's limitless concept execution also struck K-pop fans' hearts. The choreography videos, which alternated between witty and refined charisma—'ZAP' boxing version, 'WORK' suit version, and the album track "SOUPASTA" chef version—captured attention. In addition, through band live videos of album tracks "B'yond me" and "OFF-AIR," they proved unwavering, solid vocal skills and demonstrated the model of a well-made girl group.
Amid this activity, "ZAP" held the No. 1 spot for nine consecutive days on YouTube Korea's daily Shorts popular songs chart, and "WORK" also remained in the top ranks of YouTube's daily trending music videos for two straight weeks after release. Billlie's unique style—combining visuals, live performance and choreography—gave rise to the new coined term "Billlie-core" (Billlie + core).
Billlie will make a sudden appearance today (22) on KBS2 MUSIC BANK to perform the double title track "WORK".
