Singer DinDin revealed his experience dating older women.
On the morning of the 22nd, Han Hye-jin, Jang Wooyoung, DinDin and PD Park Jin-woo attended the KBS2 'Noona Is My Girl' season 2 press conference, which was held via online live stream, and talked about the program.
'Noona Is My Girl 2' (hereafter Noona Is My Girl) is a deep & hot age-gap real romance between older sisters who have not yet found love because they spent intense time building careers, and younger men who believe age is just a number when it comes to love.
This season, Han Hye-jin and Jang Wooyoung, who worked together as MCs in season 1, return for season 2, and DinDin, who became the subject of a new meme called "Nemolighting" (Nemo + gaslighting) after saying he was beaten by his older sisters in childhood to the song "Nemo's Dream," joins as a new MC.
PD Park explained the reason for casting DinDin: DinDin's unscripted and blunt manner of speaking was impressive. We thought he could bring a different color to our program. We heard he's good at flirting and can win over most women, so we needed that perspective and analysis, a younger brother's point of view that suits the older sisters and comes across well, he said.
DinDin said, I don't even watch shows I'm on often. I thought I would become too accustomed to it. I had read about season 1 in articles and thought it was a fresh format. I was invited as a guest several times during season 1 but schedules didn't match. I used to prefer older women when I was young. I came because I wanted to recall those memories, and it brought back memories as if I had gone back 10 years. I was happy to talk a lot about my experiences. Definitely my dopamine went up. The pace is so fast. I liked that very much.
He continued, I was invited and tried to watch season 1, but the production team told me not to watch it at all. They said the first-time excitement would lessen. Some people on other shows really come to find love, but some seem to have other purposes, so I couldn't get immersed. What I liked about our program at first glance was that you could see the sincerity. I felt they would be genuine and go all in, and the fast pace gives me elements I can get immersed in. That alone gives me tremendous satisfaction with this program, he said.
