The group ILLIT has completely dominated the 2026 college festival lineup and risen as the new "festival cheat code."
ILLIT (Yoon-a, Min-ju, Moka, Won-hee, Iroha) began at Yongin University on the 12th, followed by Soongsil University on the 13th, Korea University on the 19th, and Chung-Ang University on the 21st, and today (22nd) added Sejong University to their festival lineup, continuing their unstoppable rise in popularity. Colleges, which carefully select only the trendiest and most talked-about artists, showered them with love calls, proving their star power.
The new song "It's Me" has properly unleashed the dopamine of the festival scene. The exciting, addictive beat combined with the members' passionate energy in their performance instantly captivated college audiences. In particular, ILLIT's unwavering live skills and stage manner beyond that of rookies led to explosive audience singalongs and elevated the festival fervor to its peak.
A parade of abundant hit songs, including the global mega hit "Magnetic," "Tick-Tack," and "NOT CUTE ANYMORE," continued to excite the audience. In particular, they perfectly performed the mini album 4 track "Mamihlapinatapai," unveiled for the first time at this college festival, heating up the atmosphere on site.
ILLIT added to the festival fun offstage with special participatory events. At each festival site, students flocked to the "It's Me" pump game machine installed on site to take part in the challenge, creating a unique spectacle. After finishing their stage amid roaring cheers, the ILLIT members said they were deeply moved by the audience's strong response and that they felt they were leaving with renewed energy, adding that they were truly pleased and happy.
Meanwhile, as of the 21st, "It's Me" is sweeping the top spots on major domestic music charts, including No. 1 on Genie and FLO, No. 100 on Melon 'Top 100', and No. 2 on Bugs. According to Japan's Oricon 'Weekly streaming rising ranking,' "It's Me" entered at No. 3 in its second week after release and showed a frightening rise in its third week (tracking period May 11–17), ranking No. 2. At the same time, it climbed to No. 6 on the 'Weekly streaming ranking,' marking the highest position among overseas artists during the same period.
