'Kim Seon-tae' former Chungju man YouTuber Kim Seon-tae appealed about the reality of emergency medical care in local areas.
On the 22nd, Kim Seon-tae uploaded a 'donation promotion' video to his YouTube channel. After launching the Kim Seon-tae YouTube channel in early March, Kim Seon-tae spoke candidly about donations. He said he made his first donation with his own money and said, "I worked for 10 years and then left my job. I have never really spent the money I earned. At most I spent it on 2,000 Americanos," he said.
He said he decided to donate to Chungju Medical Center. Kim Seon-tae said, "Living in Chungju, I clearly know how poor Chungju's emergency medical care is, so it felt odd to postpone that and donate to Seoul," "local emergency medical care is too difficult," and "in cases like cerebrovascular disease and severe trauma, the survival rate is low. I hope at least emergency medical care can be improved," he urged.
He said, "I don't think my donation will improve emergency medical care," and added, "It isn't right for a YouTuber to show off and teach like this, but I wanted to make it known," explaining why he revealed his donation. His donation amount was 100 million won.
Meanwhile, Kim Seon-tae promoted Chungju by becoming the first civil servant YouTuber to reach 1 million subscribers. After being dismissed from his civil servant post, Kim Seon-tae transformed into a solo YouTuber and was candid about revenue and advertising, and he became a topic again by reaching 1 million subscribers in one day.
