"My Royal Nemesis" Lim Ji-yeon strongly protested that historical verification was not being done in the historical drama within the drama.
In the episode aired on the 22nd of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "My Royal Nemesis" (directed by Han Tae-seop, written by Kang Hyun-joo, produced by StudioS·Gil Pictures), Shin Seo-ri (Lim Ji-yeon), whose life changed overnight after a performance short form made her suddenly famous at the moment she crossed over to the present while dying as Gang Hee-bin, was inserted into the season 2 drama.
Playing the role of the court lady, Shin Seo-ri grabbed the assistant director and protested. Queen Dowager role Yoon Ji-hyo (a person surnamed Lee, Se-hee) had only been slapped, but the inner court concubines such as Soyong and Suk-ui were wearing gache wigs. When the director appeared, Shin Seo-ri said, "No matter how much this place is called hell Joseon, no matter how much Gang-sang's standards have fallen, shouldn't historical verification be done properly?" and "During the Anjong era there was an order banning gache wigs, so what if the inner court beside the queen dowager is wearing gache wigs?"
Although the Joseon in which Shin Seo-ri existed was fictional, details in the drama's verification—such as the color of married women's skirts and the heel of the traditional hanbok shoes of the past—were a daily topic, so Shin Seo-ri's line left another strong impact.
