Singer Taeyang revealed amusing episodes ranging from behind the scenes of his Coachella stage to his first meeting with Sung Si Kyung. In particular, the behind-the-scenes story about Daesung's "Nal bwa, gwisun" stage drew laughs.
On the 22nd KBS2's "Sung Si Kyung's Gomak Namchin" featured Taeyang, who appeared to talk about various topics.
That day Sung Si Kyung referred to the Coachella stage that recently drew attention and praised, "He's such a cool artist. The audience's response itself proved a different level," he said.
In particular, Sung Si Kyung recalled Daesung's stage and said, "The Coachella footage was really cool. Daesung's 'Nal bwa, gwisun' trot stage became a huge topic and it was so surprising," and asked, "Who decided that?" Taeyang replied, "Daesung chose the song himself and was very confident." He continued, "At first the foreign audience seemed a bit surprised," and said, "But when 60,000 to 80,000 people sang along in one voice, I got goosebumps. I thought, 'That's it.' It was so great," recalling the emotion at the time. Sung Si Kyung said, "I texted Daesung directly and he said after thinking about it that it was cool," and burst into laughter.
The two then brought up memories of their first meeting. Sung Si Kyung said, "I remember Taeyang used to come with my CD and ask me to sign it," and said, "I felt so good. I felt affection then. I wanted to boast about it to the whole world," beaming. Taeyang recalled his rookie days and said, "At music shows back then, rookies didn't have a separate waiting room and there was a space like 'the rest,'" and added, "At the music show where Daesung was an MC there was a small waiting room, so we were naturally together." He continued, "During rehearsal, senior Sung Si Kyung came over and looked at our lunch boxes and said, 'They look delicious,'" and said, "After rehearsal he came back and naturally ate with us. He said, 'They're so delicious, keep it up,'" he revealed, which drew laughter.
Sung Si Kyung said, "After starting YouTube and seeing it, it's so embarrassing. Was my first impression that I liked food?" and felt awkward, and Taeyang shot back, "I think you had the makings of a food-review YouTuber even then," which provoked laughter. Sung Si Kyung concluded, "Rather than nag like a great senior for no reason, I wanted to show the senior who eats well," and added, "I'm grateful to the fans who sent lunch box tributes," jokingly adding warmth.
