BTOB member Peniel finished warming up for his comeback one day before the release of his solo new song 'IDKI'.

Ahead of this, BTOB Company uploaded the final spoiler video for Peniel's new digital single "IDKI(아이디케이아이)" to its official SNS channel at 6 p.m. on the 20th. The phrase added to the video, "Somehow unsure about us (왠지 우리 사이가 불확실해)," hinted at the instability in the relationship that the new song contains.
The released spoiler video creates an eerie tension with a pink payphone clearly bearing the new song's logo as the background. After the release date button '0522' is pressed, a dial tone sounds, but the call never connects, and only a cold on-call signal returns, adding to the loneliness. Then Peniel's voice saying "Are we OK?" coming from beyond the lifelessly dropped receiver dramatically staged the futility between two lovers whose communication has been cut off and the silence just before a breakup.
In particular, the roughly 2-second 'IDKI' audio that suddenly played amid the blackout at the end of the video foreshadowed a sophisticated yet sensuous mood. Following the previously released 'traffic light' concept teaser and the 'old car' logo morphing teaser, the use of a "payphone" as a medium visually and aurally realized the cracks and confusion in the relationship, heightening curiosity about the new song 'IDKI (I Don't Know If)'.
In this new song, Peniel participated in the songwriting himself and candidly unraveled the ambiguous boundaries and emotional confusion between lovers. He not only made a special appearance as Junho in the recent Netflix series XO, Kitty season 3, but also successfully concluded activities for BTOB's 14th anniversary new song "우리 다시" in March, and fans are focusing on the deep emotions Peniel will newly present as a solo artist.
