"Survival King 2" Korea's 'Team Kim Byoung-man' showed unity.
On the 20th, the first episode of TV CHOSUN "Survival King 2" featured Korea's Team Kim Byoung-man, Taiwan's Team Xu Kai, Malaysia's Team Hero, and Japan's Team Yoshinari.
The Korean team participated with 'season 1 survival king' Kim Byoung-man as the center, UDT veteran Yuk Jun-seo, and The Boyz's Younghoon. Kim Byoung-man said "I am a survival king," while also noting, "I am more nervous than season 1."
Before the competition, he said, "Isn't this an international competition? Korean-style survival is unity. Let's show some unity," and added, "I trained until I was out of breath."
Yuk Jun-seo said, "What I'm confident in is, after all, my military experience and the fact that I still exercise hard, so I think I'm confident in terms of stamina."
Younghoon also said, "My greatest strength is agility. I think I'm fairly fast. Even if my body breaks, I will do my best."
The first mission was a distress mission. Yuk Jun-seo guided the way using a compass and a map, then set an example by climbing a tall tree without hesitation to obtain a necessary key. As a result, the Korean team took first place.
The second contest was arm wrestling, and Japan's team leader Yoshinari, a jiu-jitsu world champion, defeated Yuk Jun-seo to take first place overall.
Next was a fire-starting contest. Kim Byoung-man, hardened by years of living in the jungle, showed confidence. However, Team Xu Kai took first place, and Kim Byoung-man admitted, "I was a bit overconfident about starting the fire. I already lost (first place)."
Afterward, he went back to starting the fire and, with the help of Yuk Jun-seo, who fought through injuries, succeeded in starting the fire and finished in second place.<
