The Return of SUPERMAN KCM flexed a boat for his family.
On the 20th episode of KBS 2TV The Return of SUPERMAN (hereinafter "The Return of SUPERMAN"), KCM was shown going on a boat date to Jebudo with his second child, Seoyon.
That day KCM was embarrassed between his fussy second child Seoyon and taking care of the youngest, Haon. He said, "Seoyon really adores Haon, but one thing for sure is that she got a little jealous." Suddenly Seoyon threw a cushion at her father and pouted. Surprised by the sight, KCM said, "Normally I would discipline her, but I was a bit flustered then. I thought she was expressing her emotions a bit."
Eventually, feeling left out between her father and sibling, Seoyon burst out, "Dad hates me," drawing sympathy.
Afterwards KCM went out alone with Seoyon to cheer her up. But Seoyon said, "I don't love dad," and KCM replied, "Still, dad loves our Seoyon the most, you know?"
He also tried to cheer her up, saying, "Since I'm out on a date with Seoyon, just watch me this once. I didn't bring mom, Haon, or your older sister. I specially brought only Seoyon." Only then did Seoyon smile at KCM.
The place the two arrived at was Jebudo. After getting out of the car, KCM revealed a boat hanging behind the car and said, "If Jongmin hyung sees this, I think he'll say something," before revealing he had bought the boat, drawing attention.
Then Kim Jongmin said, "You already had a third child and you bought a boat? Are you sane? Jae-su, you shouldn't tolerate this," he pointed out. Lallal asked, "Isn't a boat expensive?" and Kim Jongmin replied, "Boats are very expensive."
However, KCM said in an interview, "It's not more expensive than a car." Lallal asked, "You're saying that on purpose now?" and questioned whether it was really less expensive than a car. Kim Jongmin sighed, "It's similar to a car. Changmo, you shouldn't do this."
KCM, making a shh pose, expressed satisfaction, saying, "This is a boat meant to be ridden only with family so we can be happy with our family."
KCM took out a flag made exclusively for Seoyon called the "Seoyon-ho" and decorated the boat, saying, "Since I was young I often thought how nice it would be to share my hobby with my child if I had one." At this, seeing the caption that said he had been fishing for 35 years, Kim Jongmin reacted, "If it's 35 years, it's time to stop," drawing laughter.
After performing a traditional rite on the boat with his daughter, KCM went on the boat date. Resembling her father, Seoyon easily finished ramen even while the boat rocked and showed no signs of seasickness, which impressed viewers. About this, KCM laughed, "Just my daughter."
Meanwhile, realizing Seoyon had been jealous because she liked her dad, KCM said, "This is new to me as a dad and I'm clumsy, so I don't know well how to understand from Seoyon's perspective. I will grow quickly as a dad so Seoyon's feelings won't be hurt. Don't be too upset and let's make many good memories together," he said.
