LE SSERAFIM, a day before their comeback, is raising expectations with the title track 'BOOMPALA' (Boompala).
At 12 a.m. on the 21st, LE SSERAFIM posted the second music video teaser for the title track of their second full album ''PUREFLOW' pt.1' on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel and Source Music's official social media. The video revealed additional portions of the new song's performance.
The teaser shows, following the golden statue that appeared earlier, a statue modeled after Heo Yunjin meditating. It then presents a series of distinctive scenes: Kazuha surrounded by numerous speakers, Kim Chaewon spinning on a desk, and Hong Eunchae reacting in surprise to a gigantic golden statue. At the end, the production depicts 'BOOMPALA' spreading beyond Earth into space, hinting at a song that people around the world can enjoy together. The unpredictable development and sensuous cinematography raise expectations for the full music video.
In particular, the teaser newly revealed the signature choreography of the title track, drawing attention. 'BOOMPALA' samples the globally popular Latin pop song 'Macarena' (Macarena). Elements of the original song are borrowed not only in the music but also in the dance. The move of crossing both arms consecutively blends naturally with the music, adding familiarity.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM's second full album ''PUREFLOW' pt.1' will be released at 1 p.m. on the 22nd. The new record captures an attitude of recognizing fear and moving forward based on the strength that comes from strong bonds. On the 21st at 7 p.m., to celebrate the comeback, they will hold a solo live event, 'PURE FLOWERS LIVE,' with the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify to meet fans.
