On the 21st, the tvN variety show Undercover Chef featured Sam Kim, Jung Ji-seon and Chef Kwon Seong-jun disguising themselves as the youngest kitchen staff while working overseas.
That day the cast reflected in the studio with MC Kim Poong. First, Kwon Seong-jun confessed, "It was so hard. I'm still not recovered," drawing attention.
In response, Kim Poong asked, "Is it really possible to disguise yourself as the youngest kitchen staff overseas and have my new menu served within five days?" and Kwon Seong-jun, sympathizing, asked, "Do you know what I said when I heard that from the production team at first?"
Kwon Seong-jun said, "I told the producers, 'You really know nothing about cooking,'" he revealed. Kim Poong laughed and said, "I also told them (they are not chefs but the producers) that they think of this industry too lightly," and Kwon Seong-jun shook his head, saying, "It makes no sense."
Sam Kim and Chef Jung Ji-seon reenacted, saying, "I thought there would at least be some setup, but they practically threw us in and ran away," and that they said hello when they arrived and said goodbye when they left.
In response, Kwon Seong-jun emphasized, "It was almost abandonment," and said, "I asked the writers, '(If it's going to be like this) why did you come to Italy?' If you are not going to tell us anything, we might as well watch videos from Korea. I begged them to at least give me the script," raising expectations.
