Broadcaster Jang Young-ran confirmed the suitable profession for her husband Han Chang through a fingerprint test.
On the 20th, the YouTube channel A-grade Jang Young-ran uploaded a video titled "Shocking talent that Jang Young-ran's son and daughter didn't inherit despite having a celebrity mother and a father who is a Korean medicine doctor?"
On that day, Jang Young-ran visited the fingerprint aptitude evaluation center to mark Children's Day. She said that through fingerprint tests one can check innate personality, job recommendations based on personality, and customized study methods by tendency and traits.
Hearing that the accuracy is said to be at least 97%, Jang Young-ran said, "It's time to approach this scientifically," and asked, "Is there an ideal time to take the test? In our day it was rampant in third to fourth grade. We tried to take it but couldn't."
When told "around age 3," Jang Young-ran exclaimed, "I don't think fingerprints would even be formed yet," sounding surprised.
The head of the evaluation center said, "Fingerprints form between 13 and 19 weeks of pregnancy. A person's personality is inherited. Environmental influence is less than 10%. The genetic influence on career choice is more than 70%," and cited author Han River Police as an example.
He said that author Han River Police's father was also a writer, meaning there is a genetic influence. Hearing this, Han Chang joked, "She's from my family. I write a bit."
At that moment Jang Young-ran opened up, "I'll say this quietly. My husband keeps wanting to open a Korean medicine clinic, and he's torn between opening his own clinic or working as a pay doctor."
Later, Han Chang's fingerprint test results were revealed. Both his inner and outer aspects, like Jang Young-ran, were described as emotional types, and he was said to score high on bilingualism and logic.
In particular, regarding Han Chang, the center recommended, "Rather than becoming a pay doctor, it's better to go into a research-related professorship," which drew attention. Jang Young-ran added, "I'm almost a fortune-teller," and said, "I told him, 'Dear, you should be a professor.'"
Meanwhile, Jang Young-ran and Han Chang married in 2009 and have one daughter and one son. Last year, Han Chang announced the closure of a roughly 400-pyeong Korean medicine clinic on Jang Young-ran's YouTube channel. At the time he said, "I have no intention of opening a clinic. For a year and a half I just want to focus at home without thinking about anything."
