Comedian Kim Byoung-man apologized for being late to the "survival king 2" production presentation.
Kim Byoung-man posted a long apology on his personal SNS at noon on the 21st. In the apology, he mentioned and apologized for being about 20 minutes late to the new TV CHOSUN variety show "survival king 2" production presentation held on the 20th.
"I am writing this to apologize for the recent production presentation tardiness caused by my negligence," Kim Byoung-man began, and said, "I came up from Jeju on the 19th to attend the 'survival king 2' press conference on the 20th. I prepared for the conference and set out for my morning schedule that day, but I failed to anticipate the sudden change in weather and the congestion on the rainy roads."
Kim Byoung-man continued, "I made the reporters who had filled the seats wait, and as a result my mistake caused the event schedule to be delayed. I sincerely apologize for this. Going forward, I will be more careful when adjusting schedules and will take every precaution. I apologize once again to everyone who experienced inconvenience and difficulties because of me."
Finally he added, "TV CHOSUN started 'survival king' season 2 yesterday. All the staff and cast filmed with passion in the remote areas of Taiwan. I hope my negligence does not lessen expectations for the program," and added, "Please show lots of interest and support."
On the 20th, TV CHOSUN had planned to hold the press conference for the new variety show "survival king 2" at 10 a.m. sharp. However, Kim Byoung-man's late arrival delayed it by about 20 minutes. At the scene, an announcement said a cast member was arriving late around the start of the event. It later emerged that the show's marquee performer Kim Byoung-man was the one who was late, but because there was no separate apology on site, it drew criticism.
"Survival king 2" is a variety show in which elite survival masters from four Asian countries travel through jungles, deserts and cities to perform extreme survival missions and determine the strongest survival team in Asia.
