Actor Ji So-yeon suddenly fainted while caring for her children, causing concern, and debate is raging over her husband Song Jae-hee's response.
In the video titled "the moment a normal morning turned into horror" that Ji So-yeon recently posted on her social media, Ji So-yeon is seen filming i-dle videos much as usual, but she then collapsed, causing concern.
Ji So-yeon recalled, "I was filming i-dle videos as usual when suddenly my left hand felt like it bent against my will, my vision went white for a moment and I heard a loud buzzing sound in my ear. And then I just collapsed."
The video showed Ji So-yeon falling hard backward and her husband Song Jae-hee rushing over worriedly for his wife. Ji So-yeon said, "I don't remember what happened for several minutes after that. My husband said at first he thought I was joking. But when he saw I wasn't responding and that something was wrong, he said he was really shocked."
Later, Ji So-yeon said on Yang Mi-ra's live broadcast, "I used to be someone only interested in outward appearance, and I regretted it. I thought it was time to take care of my health. I have ironclad stamina so I never thought I would collapse. It was a problem different from willpower."
She said, "I went to the hospital. They checked family history and did an electrocardiogram and blood pressure test, and fortunately everything was normal. But actually for several days my crown area had been aching and my ear had felt muffled for a while. My head still hurts a lot and my whole body feels weak and I continue to feel dizzy."
Although there is no major problem with Ji So-yeon's health, many worried because she suddenly collapsed. Some netizens criticized that although the wife collapsed and lost consciousness, Song Jae-hee appeared relaxed. They showed disappointed reactions such as, "He seems to treat it too lightly," "The husband's reaction is shocking," and "This was not the time to respond so casually."
On the other hand, there are responses saying Song Jae-hee's reaction was not a big problem. They reacted, "Didn't Ji So-yeon say her husband at first thought she was joking?", "He wouldn't have known what was happening because it was his first time," and "He might have been caring for the i-dle and couldn't pay attention."
Ji So-yeon and Song Jae-hee married in 2017 and have one son and two daughters.
