BTS (BTS) RM recounted a ridiculous episode in which he broke a PX point-of-sale terminal while in the military.
On the 20th, BTS members RM, J-Hope, V and Jimin held a live broadcast through the official fan community Weverse.
That day, the four shared anecdotes about religious activities at the training center. Jimin recalled joining religious activities with Jungkook, who was his training center cohort, to get a single piece of bread and said, "(Jungkook) didn't want to do it. 'Do I have to go this far just to eat one piece of bread? I should have gone to watch TV' he said. So after that he stopped going (to religious activities). When leaving religious activities you can pop into the convenience store once, right? You can use it once on the weekend. At that time I gave my card and told the kids to all buy things and so on," he revealed.
Hearing this, RM said, "I gave my card to the kids in the next platoon so they could buy (snacks), and those guys swiped 660,000 won on everything from snail cream to daily necessities. At the PX. That's why the POS terminal broke. They said it was the first time at Nonsan training center," he said, surprising listeners.
Jimin laughed, "Isn't buying snail cream too much?" and RM said, "The POS terminal broke so the company commander called me and asked what on earth I had done. I said, 'I just told the kids to buy some snacks,' and they had bought items intended to send to their mothers as restorative goods, so the receipt had more than 100 items," he said, causing shock.
He honestly said, "He came to me and bowed his head. He said, 'I'm sorry, sir.' I said, 'It's okay. But snail cream is a bit much, isn't it?'" Then J-Hope said, "We were very conservative so the officers forbade it. They told us never to buy things for them," and V instead recalled being fed by a senior during his rookie days, adding to the laughter.
Meanwhile, BTS completed military service for all members and made a full-group comeback in March with 'ARIRANG,' and are currently meeting global fans on their world tour.<
