Broadcaster Kim Byoung-man raised expectations for "Survival King 2."
On the morning of the 20th, at TV CHOSUN's Gasan-dong studio in Guro District, Seoul, a press conference was held for the new variety show "Survival King 2." The conference was attended by CP Lee Seung-hoon, PD Yoon Jong-ho, and cast members Kim Jong Kook, Kim Byoung-man, Yuk Joon-seo and The Boyz's Younghoon, who joined the discussion.
Returning with an even larger scale, "Survival King 2" is a global national competition survival program that determines the top survival king in Asia beyond Korea, and leading Team Korea are Kim Jong Kook and Kim Byoung-man, joined by UDT veteran Yuk Joon-seo and The Boyz's Younghoon, who combines strong competitiveness and endurance. Kim Jong Kook also joined as MC, adding weight to the program.
That day Kim Jong Kook greeted, "'Survival King' is a hot program, and I'm happy to be able to join for season 2." The "first generation survival king" Kim Byoung-man said, "I've always been waiting for the jungle, and I waited too long. I did season 1 and season 2, but this time it was so hard that I can boast about it."
He continued, "Saying it was hard means it will be very fun. When we suffer, viewers find it entertaining. Because you can see various cultures and survival methods, there will be a variety of things to watch."
Yuk Joon-seo and Younghoon, who joined as Team Korea members alongside Kim Byoung-man, also shared their impressions of joining. Yuk Joon-seo said, "Filming 'Survival King' was really very tough. Because of that, we were able to bring out something raw. Please wait for it a lot," raising expectations. Younghoon added, "This was my first time doing this kind of filming, so I was very worried, but everyone took great care of me. Although it was really hard for me, it was a fun shoot that became a good memory. I hope you definitely watch it."
The production team, who made the cast suffer, also expressed expectations for the broadcast. CP Lee Seung-hoon said, "It was hard; we did it three times up front, and the cast had a hard time, but the show turned out really well. We ask for a lot of interest," and PD Yoon Jong-ho said, "I am the very person who made it hard. The final product came out proudly and without shame."
Meanwhile, the global survival competition TV CHOSUN "Survival King 2," featuring four elite survival teams, will premiere today (the 20th) at 10 p.m.
