Actor Seo Bum-june takes the lead in the spirit of sharing.
On the 19th at 4 p.m., the disaster relief foundation Baboeui Nanum appointed Seo Bum-june as an ambassador at the vicar general's office of the Archdiocese of Seoul.
Seo Bum-june, who has the baptismal name John the Baptist, is a Catholic who has faithfully continued his religious life and has long respected Cardinal Kim Soo-hwan; through this appointment he will convey Baboeui Nanum's spirit of sharing to the public.
Bishop Koo Yo-bi said, "Although he is busy with his acting career, I am grateful to actor Seo Bum-june for accepting the ambassador role for Baboeui Nanum. I ask that he work to help many people learn about Cardinal Kim Soo-hwan's spirit of sharing."
Seo Bum-june said, "I am honored and grateful for the wonderful opportunity to serve as an ambassador. As Baboeui Nanum seeks, I will act as a bridge to convey messages of sharing to the public so that love can be practiced in the lowest places and a culture of sharing can spread."
Having been loved for his bright and healthy image through dramas such as The Fiery Priest 2 and Would You Marry Me? and the variety show I Live Alone, Seo Bum-june will take the lead in promoting various Baboeui Nanum support projects to help marginalized and disadvantaged neighbors regardless of race, nationality, religion or ideology.
