Group Monsta X's Shownu X Hyungwon return with a new album that encompasses various genres.
Starship Entertainment on the 19th released an album preview video for the new mini album LOVE ME (Love Me) on its official YouTube channel. The video includes highlight tracks of all seven songs, including the title track Do You Love Me (Do You Love Me), and behind-the-scenes footage of the concept photo shoot.
The title track Do You Love Me captures the push-and-pull emotions of being unsure about one's feelings; its rhythmic drums, brass and guitar sounds combined with the two members' delicate vocals create a sophisticated atmosphere. Also revealed were tracks such as Superstitious, In My Head, Breathe and Accelerator, along with portions of Shownu's solo song Around & Go and Hyungwon's solo song NO AIR, hinting at a broader musical spectrum.
The new release LOVE ME is the duo's first album in about 2 years and 10 months since their first mini album. The two plan to present an even clearer musical world by expressing the various textures of the emotion of love in their own colors.
Shownu X Hyungwon will release the new album LOVE ME at 6 p.m. on the 21st and begin full-fledged comeback activities.
