HYBE-GEFFEN Records' global girl group KATSEYE charted on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for a fifth consecutive week.
On May 23's latest chart released by Billboard on the 19th, PINKY UP ranked at No. 76 on the Hot 100.
On the global song charts, PINKY UP ranked No. 80 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 96 on the Global (excluding U.S.), with both songs entering the charts. The Latin pop song Gabriela, released in June last year, landed at No. 134 and No. 132 on the two charts respectively. It has continued for a whopping 47 weeks.
The second EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, which includes Gabriela, ranked No. 136 on the main album chart Billboard 200, marking its 46th consecutive week on the chart. BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, which peaked at No. 4 on that chart (July 12, 2025), sits at No. 44 on this week's top album sales, confirming continued demand for their physical albums.
KATSEYE has recently shown remarkable popularity indicators even outside the charts. As of the 18th, KATSEYE's Spotify followers surpassed 10 million. They also won both the Webby Award (Webby Award) and the People's Voice Award at the Webby Awards, known as the Oscars of internet content, earning recognition for their influence.
KATSEYE will perform at the American Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on the 25th (local time). Their stage is also expected, as they are nominated in three categories, including New Artist of the Year.
KATSEYE is a team that debuted in the United States in 2024 under HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk's multi-home, multi-genre strategy based on the "K-pop methodology." In less than two years since their debut, they have conquered stages at large music festivals and award shows such as Lollapalooza and Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and they will release their third EP WILD in August.
