Singer MC MONG directly addressed and strongly denied allegations about company operating funds and the use of advance payments. He especially complained of being wronged while mentioning the company operation process and contract structure.
On the 18th, MC MONG opened up on a TikTok live broadcast saying, "They asked me two things."
MC MONG countered, "They demanded 'a position on company operating funds and illegal gambling,' and 'a precise explanation of the use of advance payments,'" and asked, "Does it make sense to say I use company money for illegal gambling?" He added, "The source of funds is a matter you can find out just by checking the accounts. You can look through my accounts too," and insisted, "I don't understand what they mean by saying I gamble with company money."
He also added that he was not in a position to handle accounting directly in relation to company fund use. He said he was in charge of producing. MC MONG went on to discuss the company's operating structure. He claimed, "When I left in May 2025, the company was pouring huge production costs into multiple projects."
He cited a famous boy group contract structure as an example, saying contracts larger than the previous company's contract were carried out and the production costs were considerable. MC MONG claimed, "The famous boy group's previous company paid 500 million won per person as a signing fee, a total of 16.5 billion won; they paid three times that," and asserted, "The initial production cost was about 7 billion won," and he also mentioned the production costs for solo male singer B's album, saying, "The first album cost about 10 billion won, and the second cost about 5 billion won."
MC MONG also described A as "really the type to spend a lot." He said, "I understand he put in nearly hundreds of billions of won of his own money," and, "He refused offers to take investment and kept putting in his own money," adding, "From an operator's perspective, conflicts were inevitable because of the cost structure," and claimed, "For example, the company would need to spend 1 million won per person to have any profit left, but they were spending 10 million won per person."
Also, "Although I was a singer, after running a company I felt something," he said, adding his view that "singers remember what they earned but sometimes don't clearly recall what they received and what they spent." MC MONG said, "If the famous boy group received 1.5 billion won per person, if they received 16.5 billion won, they should come out having returned 8 billion won — what kind of mess is that," and complained, "I left the company after paying a penalty of 1.1 billion won."
However, the contract sizes, production costs, investment amounts and operation-related details MC MONG mentioned in that broadcast are his claims, and no separate statements have been made by the related parties.
