Actor Choi Yoon-ji swallowed even the genre field through the drama The Wonder Fools.
Choi Yoon-ji played the role of Horan, a key figure, in the Netflix series The Wonder Fools, which unveiled itself on the 15th. Every time she appeared, Choi Yoon-ji evoked a strange tension, and with an uncanny "white-eye" visual in which one eye gleamed white, she maximized the mysterious color of a character with hallucinatory abilities and raised viewers' immersion to the highest level.
In particular, Choi Yoon-ji sharply captured the psychological cracks that sway between childhood wounds and twisted affection for her family, and with a chilling breath that unsettles others, she properly showed traits specialized for genre work. In developments that move between reality and fantasy, Choi Yoon-ji's unique aura further emphasized the character's three-dimensional personality.
In the latter part of the drama, after Choi Yoon-ji's wavering inner self, she intensively depicted Horan's progression into cold rage, increasing the drama's tension. With hallucinatory abilities that relentlessly probe others' traumas and drive major figures into desperate crises, Choi Yoon-ji's heavy presence that overwhelms the screen shone brightly.
This aspect of Choi Yoon-ji is even more striking because it is 180 degrees different from the firm and warm Lee Hyori in her previous work Love, Take Two.
Choi Yoon-ji debuted in 2024 as Ko Hae-soo in the drama Love Your Enemy, and afterwards left a definite impression on viewers through Trunk, Resident Playbook, and Love, Take Two.<
