The group BOYNEXTDOOR released a trailer and heated up anticipation for their first full-length album comeback.
BOYNEXTDOOR on the 18th at 10 p.m. released the film essay "Finding HOME," the trailer for their first full-length album Home (HOME), on HYBE Labels' YouTube channel. "Home" is an album in which BOYNEXTDOOR candidly unravels the emotions and memories they have experienced so far.
This video was produced like an independent film of about nine minutes. BOYNEXTDOOR members plainly portrayed aspects of youth placed in various situations and drew attention by taking on straight acting. Unlike typical comeback trailers, it was produced in an independent-film style to offer a new kind of enjoyment.
In the video, the members are each disconnected from the world or people and, facing a new beginning, ponder the meaning that "home" gives. They recognize each other, gradually build camaraderie, and become each other's sanctuary.
Unhak said he gained the realization that "(our home) might be a place where time briefly stops," conveying the message BOYNEXTDOOR wants to tell with this new release.
BOYNEXTDOOR recently received praise for the pre-release song "Knock Knock Knock," and will release their first full-length album "Home" on June 8 at 6 p.m.
