Actor Song Il-gook lamented the parenting difficulties of his triplets, who are now in the second year of middle school.
On the 19th episode of KBS2's "Morning Yard", actors Oh Man-seok and Song Il-gook appeared as guests and talked.
On that day, announcer Eom Ji-in asked, "With three children and your wife working every day, mornings must be busy," and Song Il-gook said, "I usually see them off. I also see my wife off to the subway station. She is probably at work now," adding, "Honey, I'm sorry. Yesterday I had to go to the Ilsan training center, so I took her to Ilsan," revealing his devoted-husband side.
He then talked about the current status of the triplets Dae-han, Min-guk and Man-se, saying, "They are now in the second year of middle school. That scary middle school second year. You never know which way they'll go," and added, "When I asked, 'Do you know you're appearing on 'Morning Yard' today?' someone saw yesterday's script and came up and said, 'Father, what are you doing? Don't talk about me,'" which surprised listeners.
When asked which of the three it was, Song Il-gook, worried, said, "I can't say. If I say it, it'll be a mess when this airs," then wondered, "Will they not be able to watch the broadcast at school?" and finally confessed, "It's Min-guk."
He said, "He's very sensitive. All three are sensitive, but Min-guk is especially sensitive. So when I upload photos or things like that, I watch until it seems he's in a good mood, then go and ask, 'Can I post this photo?' and he says, 'Ah, yes, yes.' I have to get his permission before posting. The kids I knew are gone and someone I don't know has come," conveying his bittersweet feelings.
