'Single's Inferno5' Choi Min-a-su's appearance on 'Kill It' drew attention, and the production team conveyed the person's firm determination.
On the afternoon of the 19th at the CJ ENM building in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, a media talk event was held for tvN's new entertainment program 'Kill It: Style Creator War'. Present at the event were CP Lee Won-hyung and Jang Yoon-ju, Cha Jung-won, and Ahn Ah-reum, who spoke about the show.
'Kill It: Style Creator War' is a survival show that discovers the next-generation figures who will lead K-fashion trends, the 'style creators', in other words the 'next-generation style icons'.
In particular, news that Choi Min-a-su, who recently drew attention by appearing on Netflix 'Single's Inferno5', would appear drew attention. In response, CP Lee Won-hyung, asked about the behind-the-scenes of casting, explained, "It is true that we met with Ms. Choi Min-a-su, but rather than us intensely recruiting her, she herself had a strong will to appear. She had a strong desire to prove herself through fashion beyond the image she showed on 'Single's Inferno5'."
He continued, "(Putting her) last in the order was not because she is the most outstanding in fashion style but because she would be the most talked-about person on the broadcast, so we placed her last," adding, "She appears right away in episode 2. Ms. Choi Min-a-su hears something from Ms. Yoon-ju and, motivated by that, she changes herself. She comes out with a transformed style, and there are parts where she receives favorable reviews."
He added, "Afterward, that person said she is a character who grows on her own, and we also show a growing side, so we think those aspects will be shown a lot through the broadcast."
Meanwhile, 'Kill It: Style Creator War' airs every Tuesday at 10:10 p.m.
