Starship Entertainment's new boy group IDID targeted global fans with a distinctive "dakku, a Korean term for enthusiastically decorating one's diary" sensibility and refreshing boyish charm.
IDID (Jang Yonghun, Kim Minjae, Park Wonbin, Chu Yuchan, Park Sunghyun, Baek Junhoek, Jeong Semin) will abruptly release their new single album FLY!, which includes the title track 'FLY!' and the album track "Attent!on," at 6 p.m. on the 27th through various online music sites.
Prior to this, on the 18th the group abruptly revealed two versions of the jacket mood film for the single album [FLY!] through their official social media channels, capturing the attention of fandom WITHID.
The first released jacket mood film sensibly captured the members' shooting moments in a vintage blue mood, starting with Jeong Semin and continuing with Baek Junhoek, Park Sunghyun, Chu Yuchan, Park Wonbin, Kim Minjae, and Jang Yonghun. Short but intense and dreamlike visuals were enhanced with cute border decorations such as hearts, stars, dots and waves, maximizing the members' distinctive artist mood.
The second released video captured the vivid excitement of the comeback photo shoot. Beginning with a group shot centered on a piano with natural poses, the video was filled with seven distinct personalities. It opened with Jeong Semin, who displayed boyish charm with a crown accessory, followed by Park Sunghyun wearing a baseball helmet with a witty expression, Park Wonbin completing a hip mood with large horn-rim glasses and colored bulbs, and Chu Yuchan showing off free-spiritedness with a cap and wing accessories.
Also featured were Jang Yonghun, who elicited heart-fluttering reactions with a languid gaze; Kim Minjae, who displayed comical charm with goggles and a toy airplane; and Baek Junhoek, who perfectly pulled off a Mickey Mouse hat, capturing the members' quirky personalities. In particular, the film's backgrounds and cute artwork reminiscent of dakku harmonized throughout, further amplifying the vintage sensibility.
IDID, which announced a comeback on the 27th, has raised anticipation by sequentially opening highly polished promotional content, starting with a trailer film like a youth movie and following with a timetable, track list, concept photos and now this jacket mood film.
IDID is a seven-member boy group that took its first step into the music industry last year through Starship's mega global project Debut's Plan. They seized a music show first-place trophy just 12 days after their official debut, causing a fresh shift in the fifth-generation idol market. At the recently held 3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026 (ASEA 2026), they won the hot trend award, firmly establishing themselves as a leading "cheat key" group.
