Comedian Park Seong-gwang apologized for his rude remarks.
On the 19th Park Seong-gwang posted an apology on his social media saying, "I sincerely apologize to the many people who felt uncomfortable because of the expressions and reactions I made during the recent fandom broadcast."
On the 16th Park Seong-gwang appeared in the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League "fandom broadcast" between the KIA Tigers and the Samsung Lions held at Daegu Samsung Lions Park. Standing on the KIA side, Park Seong-gwang teamed up with former player Na Ji-wan to lead cheers.
In the process, Park Seong-gwang made corrosive criticisms and belittling remarks that drew frowns, such as "You should be ashamed. If you watch it again," "Don't lose your temper, go in," and "Hey, you guys win. If you want to win that badly, win. Stick your foot in? What is that."
After baseball fans poured out criticism, Park Seong-gwang apologized, saying, "As someone who loves baseball very much, I became so absorbed in the game live that I was not sufficiently careful with my remarks. Just as the team I support is precious to me, I deeply empathize that other teams are also teams filled with the love and pride of many fans."
He added, "As a sport in which many teams and fans participate, I will communicate with more care and consideration. I will deeply reflect on the lacking parts and the comments you gave. Thank you."
