The group TREASURE unveiled visual photos of members Junkyu and So Jeong-hwan ahead of the release of their new mini album, ramping up comeback hype.
On the 19th, agency YG Entertainment posted 'TREASURE - 4th MINI ALBUM [NEW WAV] VISUAL PHOTO' on its official blog. Following Asahi and Park Jeong-woo, who drew strong reactions from global fans, the second featured members are Junkyu and So Jeong-hwan.
In the released poster, the two overwhelm the viewer at once with an intense hip-hop vibe emanating from a black-and-white mode, without fancy production or props.
Junkyu exuded mature charm with deeper, richer emotional eyes, and So Jeong-hwan showed rougher masculinity and charisma in an angled pose. Filling the frame solely with the members' distinctive aura and command, they pique curiosity about TREASURE's new musical world to be revealed through this release.
TREASURE's fourth mini album [NEW WAV] will be released at 6 p.m. on June 1. As YG had expressed confidence, calling it "an album that explores TREASURE's diverse sides through the hip-hop genre" and asking fans to expect a bolder, more intense TREASURE, excitement is rising for their return to pioneer a new trend in the music industry with YG's signature deep hip-hop DNA.
After the comeback, TREASURE will hold 'TREASURE THE STAGE 2026 IN SEOUL' at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk District, Seoul, from June 19 to 21 for three days, passionately connecting with domestic fans.
They will then tour Japan visiting Osaka, Kanagawa, Hyogo, Aichi, Fukui, Fukuoka, Tokyo and others, staging a large-scale fan concert tour spanning eight cities in Korea and Japan with a total of 20 shows.<
