Girl group I.O.I is finally making a comeback.
I.O.I will release their third mini album 'I.O.I : LOOP' on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 19th and return after nine years. With the new release, they will launch a full-scale 10th anniversary debut project.
I.O.I drew great attention by reuniting after nine years to mark their 10th debut anniversary. This new release looks back on I.O.I's past 10 years and captures the present moment of meeting again. They plan to meet fans with even stronger teamwork and solidified musical capabilities.
I.O.I's comeback title track "Suddenly" gained authenticity with Jeon Somi participating in the lyrics. It is a synth-pop song that delicately captures the unexpectedly sudden arrival of longing and the afterimages of memories, singing about the sincerity of the time that has passed and the poignant affection of relationships that reconnect.
Not only Jeon Somi but also Yoo Yeon-jung participated in writing and composing the rock-based track "If I," and Chung Ha wrote and composed the ballad "Back then, us now."
Starting with the release of the third mini album, I.O.I will hold a solo concert in Seoul from the 29th to the 31st and begin an Asia tour.
