On the 18th, the YouTube channel "Lee Seongmi's Can't Go" uploaded a video titled "Why did Song Eun I start attending church?" That day Lee Seongmi introduced Song Eun I, saying she asked her favorite younger sister to make her first appearance.
Lee Seongmi asked Song Eun I if she was a deacon, and Song Eun I said she was a layperson. Lee Seongmi said "We have Sister Song Eun I with us," and Song Eun I explained, "I don't do work for an office, so I'm not a deacon."
After that Song Eun I said she has continued her religious life since 2003 and that she started attending church without any major incident. She said, "Lee Seongmi was in Canada, so I visited her, and on the way back I thought, 'I should try going to church tomorrow,' and I've been going since then."
Song Eun I recalled that on the plane heading to Lee Seongmi's house she read a book about visiting monasteries and became curious, and that at Lee Seongmi's house she inexplicably came down with a fever and felt ill, which seemed to have been the trigger.
Song Eun I continued, "Choi Kang-hee was zealously trying to evangelize me at the time. When she asked, 'Want to go to church tomorrow?' I used to say, 'Go away,' but I ended up going with her once," explaining the reason she first attended church.
Meanwhile, Song Eun I said that the first thing she did when she began her religious life was remove the talisman that had been stuck on her room wall, and she revealed that her mother was a Buddhist, which drew surprise.
