Singer VV (BIBI) has joined hands with global record label Warner Music to fully target the global market.
VV's agency, Feel Ghood Music, founded by Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae, has signed an abrupt global partnership with Warner Music Korea (Warner Music Korea). This partnership was planned to widely showcase multi-entertainer VV's music and artistic inspiration on stages around the world.
Having surpassed 1 billion cumulative streams and successfully completed her first world tour, VV has thus laid the groundwork for a much bigger leap as a global artist. That new start begins in earnest with the release of the summer single "BUMPA," which will heat up this summer.
VV's new chapter-opening new song "BUMPA" will be unveiled on the 20th. This song is a lively track that sensibly blends global pop, Latin and Caribbean rhythms, and it had already elicited explosive reactions from audiences at every world tour stage, with formal release requests pouring in. In particular, VV not only wrote and produced the new song but also directly oversaw the entire project, including the visual concept and video direction, pouring 100% of her free-spirited and rhythmic charm into it.
VV has already solidified her status as a global star by performing twice on the stage of the world-renowned music festival "Coachella," becoming the first Korean female solo artist to do so. In Korea, she swept major awards ceremonies with 13 trophies along with a chart-dominating mega hit, "Bamyanggaeng," which caused a national craze. She is also regarded as a leading all-rounder: a fashion icon receiving love calls from global luxury brands such as Burberry, Bulgari and Valentino, and an actress whose performances in films and OTT series have also been well received.
