On the 18th, MC MONG conducted a live broadcast on his TikTok account. After the broadcast began, MC MONG expressed his position directly regarding his military exemption controversy, alleged affairs, illegal funds and gambling suspicions, saying he felt wronged. He also directly mentioned the boy group that is currently in an exclusive contract dispute with his agency and One Hundred, saying, "the previous company paid a signing bonus of 500 million won per person, and we paid a signing bonus of 16.5 billion won. He also continued by naming specific actors and alleging they had engaged in prostitution and illegal gambling. Then he defiantly told them, "Sue me," showing confidence.
Meanwhile, after the live broadcast ended, MC MONG posted and said, "temporarily suspended for a week," informing that his account had been temporarily suspended. The platform had restrained him for provocative expressions. Nevertheless, he casually continued to promote his account, saying, "You can search this for a week."
However, singer and actor Kim Min-jong, who was named in such indiscriminate exposés, said through his law firm, "The artist himself also feels very heavy-hearted about the fact that Kim Min-jong's name has been mentioned amid various stories and that this has caused concern and confusion to many people, and he looks upon the current situation with regret and mixed feelings. However, we make it clear that the contents related to Kim Min-jong currently being discussed online are entirely false."
The law firm warned of legal action, saying, "Kim Min-jong firmly stated that he will confront this head-on without any compromise to prove his integrity. Regarding the related matters, after specifically verifying the claims made by the problematic party, we will hold them civilly and criminally liable where necessary," and Kim Min-jong himself said, "I will act carefully so as not to disappoint those who have believed in and supported me for a long time.
