ENA's The Scout surpassed 1.1 million cumulative votes in one month, drawing attention from countries including the U.K., the U.S. and Japan.
ENA's growth music project THE SCOUT: reborn stars (hereafter The Scout) exceeded 1.17 million cumulative votes in global voting (April 17–May 16). After starting early voting on April 17, before the broadcast, the participants' growth narratives and the masters' sincere mentoring increased viewers' immersion, leading to explosive participation.
The Scout has been recognized as a differentiated music project by densely portraying the growth process of "muses" who missed a chance once or dream of a new challenge under the concept of "reborn stars." In addition, the growth drama created by the masters Lee Seung-Chul, Kim Jaejoong, Wendy, DAY6 Young K and the 16 muses is receiving favorable reviews from viewers.
Meanwhile, strong interest continued in overseas markets. Inquiries related to program format sales poured in from the U.K., the U.S. and Japan, and the production team signed a contract with format sales specialist Something Special on the 19th to expand global business in earnest. Through this, they plan to cultivate The Scout as a global music IP.
Earlier, in the Latin American region, Isan's stage video and clip content rapidly spread through social media, drawing attention. Isan, born to a Peruvian mother and a Korean father, received significant attention among local fans for his stage.
The Scout said, "From the early stages of the broadcast we have received more interest than expected from domestic and international viewers. Although only two episodes have aired, the muses' growth and changes supported by the masters seem to have been conveyed sincerely," and added, "As format sale inquiries continue, we will strive to advance into a global music project and demonstrate the strength of Korean music content."
