Singer MC MONG used a TikTok live broadcast to strongly state his position regarding various allegations surrounding him. In particular, he directly addressed issues such as company operating funds, advance payment usage, and illegal gambling allegations, expressing his grievance.
On the 18th during the live broadcast, MC MONG mentioned the status of reporting related to him, and he said, "The first was the position on whether company operating funds were used for illegal gambling, and the second was to ask for an accurate explanation about the use of advance payments."
MC MONG reacted strongly. He said, "What kind of nonsense is this?" and argued, "Claiming that company funds were used for illegal gambling is something that would be revealed immediately by looking at the accounts. I can even make my accounts public. I don't understand how anyone can say company money was used for gambling."
He then specifically mentioned company operations and the scale of production costs. MC MONG said, "As of my resignation in May 2025, the contract scale itself was enormous," mentioning a famous boy group and adding, "The signing bonus was about 500 million won per person and the total amount was considerable. Production costs also involved tens of billions of won from the start." He also claimed that for an album by a famous singer, "the first nearly cost 10 billion won, and the second cost about 5 billion won in production expenses."
MC MONG also mentioned associates he worked with, saying, "There were suggestions to take on investment, but I refused and kept putting in my own money." He added, "Close to hundreds of billions of won of his own funds went in," and claimed, "(For example) if he didn't like a member's outfit, he would pay directly with a personal card."
However, he said there were conflicts over operating methods in the process. MC MONG explained, "From the company's standpoint, for example, it should have been 1 million won per person, but it was spending 10 million won per person," adding, "From an operating perspective, clashes were unavoidable."
He also mentioned the circumstances when he left the company. He claimed, "I left the company after paying a penalty of 1.1 billion won," and said, "I wish people would discuss this knowing all these parts."
However, the contract sizes, amounts, and company operation–related contents mentioned by MC MONG were claims he made during the live broadcast and have not been independently confirmed. Throughout the broadcast MC MONG expressed his grievance, saying, "Absurd stories keep being made up," and he appeared to confront recent controversies surrounding him head on.
