Jun-hee rang the wedding march on the 16th at a hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, marrying a non-celebrity man 11 years her senior. The two tied the knot after a long relationship, and it was reported that when Jun-hee once struggled after gaining weight up to 96kg due to side effects of lupus, her boyfriend stayed by her side and supported her.
Comedian Cho Sae-ho, who had halted activities amid allegations of ties to organized crime, served as master of ceremonies for the wedding, and many guests came to offer congratulations. In particular, the "Choi Jin-sil close friends" who attended the December 2000 wedding of the late Choi Jin-sil and Cho Seong-min made a large showing. In the entertainment industry, which was rife with incidents and coldness, the group known as the "Choi Jin-sil family" included Lee Young-ja, Hong Jin Kyung, Uhm Jung-hwa, Lee Sora and Jung Sun-hee, who shared their hearts and boasted deep friendships.

The released photos include a proof shot of Hong Jin Kyung posing with Choi Hwan-hee, who acted as master of ceremonies. They also included the back view of Kim Song, the wife of Kang Won-rae.
Lee Sora also wrote, "Pew~~ Jung-hwa and I play like this haha" and, writing "#GoingToJunheeWedding #TodayIsAHappyDay," released a short video taken while returning from Uhm Jung-hwa's attendance at Choi Jun-hee's wedding.
Jun-hee had a tragic family history, having lost her parents and uncle Choi Jin-young to heaven when she was young. However, the aunts who were close friends of Choi Jin-sil tried to fill that gap. Jun-hee maintained ties by regularly meeting with Hong Jin Kyung, Uhm Jung-hwa and others, and entertainment industry acquaintances showed special care and affection for the siblings Hwanhee and Jun-hee.
