Perfect Crown Byeon Woo-seok confessed to IU that she was his first love.
In the final episode of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama Perfect Crown, aired on the 16th, Grand Prince IAAN (played by Byeon Woo-seok) was shown confessing to Seong Hee-ju (played by IU).
On that day, Grand Prince IAAN decided to abolish the monarchy by national vote. As a result of the vote, the era of the royal family ended, and Grand Prince IAAN and Seong Hee-ju called each other by their names and became true lovers.
Three years after the abolition of the monarchy, updates were reported that Seong Hee-ju had returned to the board of directors and that Lee Wan, after settling the royal assets, had established a foundation. Choi Hyun (played by Yu Su-bin) and Do Hye-jung (played by Lee Yeon) were dating, and Yoon Il-rang (played by Gong Seung-yeon) was living an everyday life as a mother and son with the son who had been king.
While living a happy life, Lee Wan wanted to propose to Seong Hee-ju again and hold a wedding. Seong Hee-ju, who refused, glared and said, "I was sincere from then on, you? Were you not?"
Seong Hee-ju repeatedly asked, "Since when were you sincere?" and Lee Wan confessed, "Didn't you know from the start? I liked you for a long time. Since the time you first told me your name," saying she was his first love.
After giving Seong Hee-ju a tender kiss, he explained, "Even at midnight I wanted to run toward something bright red, but the junior was so famous that I kept hearing news about her at school and even after graduation. I thought there might be even one chance to run into her, but there never was. Then I saw her at Dan Il-yeon."
Confirming each other's feelings, the two embraced tightly and shared a sweet kiss that stirred excitement.
