'Perfect Crown' Noh Sang Hyun admitted attempting to assassinate Byeon Woo-seok.
In the final episode of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama Perfect Crown broadcast on the 16th, Min Jeong-woo (Noh Sang Hyun) was exposed for who he really was.
Min Jeong-woo had secretly been harboring an unrequited love for Seong Hee-ju (IU). He vowed to himself while wearing a rosary, but in the end he ran amok after realizing that Grand Prince IAAN (Byeon Woo-seok) and Seong Hee-ju were sincere with each other. He even attempted to kill Grand Prince IAAN.
That day Yoon Yi-rang played a recording of her conversation with Min Jeong-woo for Seong Hee-ju and asked her to stop Min Jeong-woo. Hearing this, Seong Hee-ju was engulfed in shock and cried, and later exposed his true nature in front of everyone at the meeting.
Seong Hee-ju angrily asked, "So you tried to kill him? Because you want to abolish the royal family that exerts influence in economics, diplomacy and culture without exception, you tried to assassinate the king of this country?"
As Min Jeong-woo was flustered, Grand Prince IAAN shouted, "Is all this true? Is it true?" and "I asked the prime minister. From now on, anyone who defends Prime Minister Min will be treated as an accomplice of the person trying to assassinate me."
Afterwards Min Jeong-woo admitted to the assassination attempt when asked whether he really tried to kill him. He explained his reason to Grand Prince IAAN, saying, "I begged you. I asked you to push Hee-ju away far, and I said I would protect you many times. It's your fault. This is how I became like this."
Then Grand Prince IAAN pointed out, "It's your fault for thinking you lost something you never had," and left the room. Hearing this, Min Jeong-woo silently shed tears.
