Director Yeon Sang-ho's new film "Gunche" (directed by Yeon Sang-ho, distributed by SHOWBOX, produced by Wowpoint (WOWPOINT)·Smilegate, co-produced by Midnight Studio) rose to No. 1 in overall advance ticket sales, signaling the start of a summer box-office surge.

Meanwhile, "Gunche" was officially invited to the 79th Cannes Film Festival and was shown to the world for the first time through an official screening and red carpet event on the 15th (local time).
At the red carpet, director Yeon Sang-ho, lead actors Jun Ji-hyun, Ji Changwook, Koo Kyo-hwan, Shin Hyun-been, Kim Shin-rock, and producer Yang Yoo-min attended together and were showered with many flashes.
