Hwanhee of Fly to the Sky was anointed an "unfilial son" for teasing his mother.
On the episode of KBS2 Mr. House Husband that aired on the 16th, Hwanhee was shown taking his mother on her first trip to Jeju Island.
Hwanhee's mother said she was traveling to Jeju for the first time in 74 years. Saying it was her first time at an airport as well, she said, "Because it's the first time, I'm nervous. While preparing yesterday I felt excited. I feel like I might cry. It's been 74 years but this is my first trip," sharing her elated feelings.
In response, Hwanhee began teasing his mother, saying, "You can't board the plane with your shoes on. You have to take them off at the doorway when you enter the plane."
Not realizing Hwanhee was joking, his mother actually took off her shoes as soon as she boarded the plane, prompting exclamations. She said, "I thought you really wanted me to take them off. I really took them off and the flight attendant just laughed. There were three of them. I showed I was a first-timer and I was really embarrassed," and she muttered toward Hwanhee, "Oh my, what a rotten child. How dare you tease your mother, it's embarrassing," which drew laughter.
Later Hwanhee said, "This is my first time flying in 74 years," and his mother confessed, "I feel a bit nervous. It's because I'm about to go up into the sky."
Seeing this, Hwanhee lied again, saying, "I felt the same the first time I flew. Once we depart, the plane will take off and go into the sky. If you lower your head it saves fuel."
Brian jeered, "He's a mean kid, really," and sure enough, his mother was tricked by Hwanhee once more and bowed her head at takeoff. She then asked, "Son, when will you get up?" and, spotting Hwanhee playfully laughing, realized belatedly she had been fooled again.
In response, his mother scolded, "You fool, look at you teasing your mother. Keep teasing her—it's her first time here," and Brian clicked his tongue, adding, "Mother, your son really is a fool," which added to the laughter.
