Hwanhee of Fly to the Sky's mother shared changes after appearing on Mr. House Husband.
On the 16th episode of KBS2's Mr. House Husband, the 모습 of Hwanhee and his mother taking their first trip to Jeju together was shown.
That day, Hwanhee's mother could not hide her excitement about flying on an airplane for the first time in her life. He looked out the window and marveled, "It's clouds, clouds."
The mother said, "I felt a little strange. When I looked out, it was covered in white so it was a bit scary. Is it really floating? I was also happy. I thought, so this is what an airplane is like," she said.
She went on to say, "Thanks to my son I got to ride an airplane. Thanks to Mr. House Husband," expressing gratitude, and Hwanhee said, "You originally didn't want to do Mr. House Husband, did you?"
Then the mother said, "I worried a lot. I didn't know it would be this good. I even rode an airplane," and revealed, "Because of Mr. House Husband, your sister-in-law seems to feel a bit sorry," drawing attention.
In a previous broadcast, Hwanhee said, "I've never been on a trip with my mother even once," revealing the reality that he did not spend much time with his family. Moreover, they did not even properly have family photos, and the mother at times avoided eating with her son because she did not want to show him an unattractive side.
In particular, in a past appearance the mother said, "A few days ago my mother passed away. When I saw my mother's portrait photo I felt heartbroken. It wasn't a portrait photo; it was an ID photo. If something happened to me, there would be no portrait photo, and my sons would be at a loss. I have no solo photos, so I thought I should have such a photo," and at the photo studio they visited to take a family picture she prepared a portrait photo, causing Hwanhee to break down in tears.
The mother said, "(My daughter-in-law) cried after watching the broadcast. She said, 'Mother, I'll now celebrate your birthday and take good care of you,'" she conveyed. Then Hwanhee said, "My older brother contacted me after watching Mr. House Husband and said, 'Take mom on a trip,' but I was angry thinking, 'Why does he only tell me to look after mom?' and I wasn't on good terms with my brother," recounting the conflict with his brother.
Fortunately, Hwanhee said they "have now resolved it" and restored their relationship amicably, and Lee Yo-won showed support saying, "Your brothers can do filial duty together."
