Singer Woody is stepping up his global activities with a special collaboration.
Woody released the collaboration single 'Sad reindeer (悲しきトナカイ / 카나시키 토나카이)' with Black Jafa at 12 a.m. on the 16th through various online music sites.
"Sad reindeer" is a song that captures the flow of emotions toward loneliness, conflict and hope through the symbolic figure of a "reindeer left alone in the snow."
A representative said, "On a night where even starlight doesn't reach, the music expresses an inner narrative that doesn't lose the feeling of hope — 'I want to fly high into the sky' — even in loneliness that reaches no one."
Starting last June with the Japanese version of "If you feel like you're left alone in the world," Woody has been active in Japan, consecutively releasing Japanese versions of his signature songs such as "Like a flower blooming in the desert," "Dress casually and go out," "Say I Love You," and "If this song came out of a club."
Having released the filmic-sounding "Sad reindeer" and stepping up his global activities, attention is turning to what songs Woody will present next.
