Earlier, Choi Joon-hee announced in February that she would marry a boyfriend 11 years her senior in May. Her fiancé is reported to be an ordinary company employee.
Regarding her decision to marry her fiancé, Choi Joon-hee said, "Oppa held my hand and said it could be far or the end might not be visible, but he would carry me on his back and run, so let's start together.
