Broadcaster Kim Sook's Jeju house has been transformed into something akin to a cultural asset.
Kim Sook on the 16th posted on her social media, "Thanks to your concerns, a very beautiful house of cultural asset(?) caliber has been completed. My members who took time out of their busy broadcasting schedules to rush over, the best!" and revealed the Jeju house.
The released photos showed the "Ssuk House," where a thatched-roof house and stone walls harmonize. This is the house introduced on tvN "Unpredictable," which Kim Sook and Song Eun I purchased in joint names in 2012, but later settled the equity and it is now solely owned by Kim Sook.
Because Kim Sook's house required approval from the Korea Heritage Service for changes to appearance, extensive expense and time were invested in the remodeling, but as the construction was nearing completion, regulations were eased, producing a reversal.
Kim Sook said, "The production PD team and writers of Unpredictable worked so hard. Running a program for a year is impossible these days in Songgye, but I am very grateful that you shared and rejoiced in every moment. And thank you to everyone who helped build the house."
In particular, Kim Sook raised expectations by saying she would accept suggestions on how to use the house on days when the members have leftover time.
