Model-turned-actress Koo Jae-i surprised fans by announcing she is pregnant with her second child.
On the 16th, Koo uploaded several photos to her social account, writing, Life is truly unpredictable.
The released photos include an ultrasound image, drawing attention to Koo being pregnant with her second child. Koo explained, It was something we never planned at all, but perhaps like a bond that had to come to us, "Haru" has come to our side.
The second child is a daughter. Koo posted a photo of her son preparing to welcome his younger sibling with a baby doll and expressed her joy, saying, Taeo, who loved babies so much and has a lot of love, will meet his younger sister in the fall.
In particular, she added the caption, I dreamed of peonies ♥, alongside a photo of a potted plant, indicating that the pregnancy dream for the second child was 'peony.' Upon hearing the news, Lee Hyun-yi, Oh Sang-jin and Son Dam-bi left comments and likes to congratulate her.
Meanwhile, Koo married a university professor who was five years her senior and working in France in 2018, and in 2020 she welcomed her first son, Taeo. After wrapping up life in France, she stayed in Korea for a short time and has been living in Tokyo, Japan, since 2024.
