Comedian Kim Shin-young's invitation was declined by Park Ji-hyun, prompting laughter.
On the 15th episode of MBC variety show I Live Alone (hereinafter I Live Alone), episode 647, a day in the life of an ailing Kim Shin-young was portrayed and drew attention. That day Kim Shin-young recalled, "It started with pollen allergy and rhinitis and worsened to laryngitis," adding, "That day was the most painful day."
Still, she drove herself home after finishing her radio schedule. Contrary to the panelists' expectations that she would lie down immediately, Kim Shin-young surprised them by immediately starting a self-haircut.
She said, "I cut my hair to 3 mm roughly once every three weeks," noting she has been doing it for 10 years. She then drew attention by demonstrating, saying she has "my own items" while caring for her skin, feet and crown.
Kim Shin-young said, "Even after washing my hair, because I'm short I manage my crown in case others might smell it," and added, "I'm sensitive to smells."
Kim Shin-young then began cleaning the toilet. She said, "I clean the toilet every time I have a major bowel movement," asserting, "credit entry smell is the main culprit of bathroom odor."
Hearing this, Jun Hyun-moo asked, "Have you ever held it in because cleaning the toilet is hard?" and Kim Shin-young firmly answered, "No," drawing laughter.
The panelists reacted to Kim Shin-young's invitation to visit with comments such as, "I couldn't visit because it would be too burdensome," "I think I should bring a waste bag for excrement," and "If I visit, I'll lie and say I didn't use the bathroom."
Kim Shin-young said, "If all my acquaintances leave, I can clean alone," and said it was fine, but Park Ji-hyun said, "That's too burdensome, so I won't go," adding more laughter.
Kim Shin-young said she is this diligent because she was raised by her grandmother. Kim Shin-young explained, "My grandmother always said she was dying while doing fieldwork, cooking and even laundry," adding, "I grew up watching that so I try to keep it too. My grandmother is my good textbook." <
