Kids creator HeyJini explained why she went on a family trip without her second son.
HeyJini uploaded a video titled "the story many asked about, the reason the second child was absent on every trip" to her YouTube channel on the 16th.
She said, "Many people have been curious about Seung-yu, and I wanted to talk about it someday, and this video became that moment," and explained the reason she cannot travel with her second child Seung-yu.
HeyJini explained, "People have often been curious about Seung-yu, and I frequently received the question, 'Why doesn't Seung-yu join you on trips?' Seung-yu has had otitis media that has lasted longer than expected since a cold in January of this year, and he has been receiving continuous treatment and medical care for four months."
She noted that especially if his condition drops even slightly, symptoms such as a runny nose, nasal congestion and otitis media can worsen again, so they decide about outings cautiously depending on the situation.
She said, "We also love the times the four of us — Seung-yu, Chae-yu and the two of us — are together the most, but right now Seung-yu's health and condition come first, so there are times when we cannot be together depending on the situation," and added, "Originally this Busan trip was planned to be with Taeri's family for 2 Days & 1 Night, but because of Seung-yu's condition we went briefly for 1 night and 2 days with Chae-yu."
She said, "I know many Hyechung fans like seeing the four of our family together. So we try to show the daily life of the four of us together as much as possible."
Finally, HeyJini said, "Although there are times on trips when sadly we cannot be together, there will be more days to travel with Seung-yu in the future, so please watch over us slowly."
Meanwhile, HeyJini married KidsWorks CEO Park Chung-hyuk in 2018. She became the mother of two children after welcoming her first daughter in 2023 and her second son in July last year. The family also revealed their childcare daily life on KBS 2TV's The Return of SUPERMAN.
